Rachel's path into multifamily housing began before her career with Nxt. She and her husband owned two small apartment complexes, an experience that sparked her passion for the multifamily industry and provided her with firsthand insight into property ownership and operations. Through that experience, Rachel gained a unique perspective on the opportunities, challenges, and responsibilities that come with both ownership and property management.

Having worked from both viewpoints, Rachel developed a deep appreciation for the many moving parts that contribute to a successful multifamily community. Her understanding of the industry, combined with her operational experience and commitment to supporting teams, has helped prepare her for this leadership role.

Outside of work, Rachel's greatest joy is her family and she loves spending as much time with them as she can. She is a proud mom of five children, "his, mine, and ours." She is also blessed with a wonderful daughter-in-law and a beautiful granddaughter, with another grandbaby expected in early November. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys shopping and jokes that "shopping is my cardio." She is also a dedicated coffee enthusiast and says "coffee is basically its own food group in [her] diet."
